Sahlin Studios (Kits: A Spring Day, A Wonderful Day, Sunshine Daffodil, Sweet Storytelling)
Pink Reptile Studios (Paper: Passion for Paper)
These are older photos of my youngest child. I used to love going to this pier, near Owls Head Park, when we lived in Brooklyn. You can see the Statue of Liberty from there (photo on bottom right). The photo on the left shows the Verrazano Bridge, which my daughter has always called the Victoria Bridge (which is her name). I have so many photos I would love to digiscrap. I actually started digital scrapping, years ago...I took quite a long break, as there wasn’t much time to. I’ve retired and love having time to play again. It’s been fun going through the older kits I purchased way back then (I wish I could find them all)...and I’m also enjoying playing with the new goodies.
Beautiful little girl, beautifully scrapped. I love the pastel tones you used.
I often dig into the archives when I create a page with photos. And then sometimes I go way back & use vintage photos, my real love. RE: Retirement. Tomorrow is my last day of work, so excited, party in the afternoon, relatives & friends joining me to help celebrate! I've been with my employer for 45 freakin' long years, so it will be different waking up with no where to go next week...
@mcurtt Whoa! 45 years! Congratulations! You’re going to love being retired! I felt like I was on an extended vacation, at first.
I do keep busy. I have four children. Three are grown/older and one is ten years old. I love being a stay at home Mom (and getting paid - from my retirement). I’m also a new Glamma.
