I have a dude that dances, too ... though he is 18. It always amazes me how dance studios clamor for male dancers, but once they get them, they are the forgotten minority. I can't recall how many times my son's studio has forgotten to let the guys know their costume requirements. ;-)
Love the bright colors here against the wood background paper! And that big bold titlework complements that wonderful photo beautifully! Fun LO!
@jazzmatazz you too? I emailed for 2 months & finally got the answer, a pink shirt & black pants. At least it didn't have pink ruffles like 2 years before!
Yea, my son once attended a Christian summer dance intensive where the director asked the dancers (meaning, the girls) to stop wearing shirts (i.e., over their leotards). Of course, she didn't differentiate between the female and male dancers, just saying that the dancers can't wear shirts. My son, being a bit of a clown, immediately stood up in the auditorium and yelled, "Guys, too?" The director blushed and quickly revised her statement.
He is currently the only male dancer at his school. When they went to a huge regional dance festival, guess whose costume was the only one they forgot??? He has learned to look out for himself ...
The blended cut outs are a fun take on the challenge. I love how you have modified it to completely create a unique and perfect page. Sensational page.
