Text: Today was the day we committed to taking a cruise to Alaska. This all started back this summer when James's Aunt, Uncle, cousin, and his wife took a trip to Alaska. It sounded like a lot of fun. Well, maybe it was before that when Kaye went on a Alaskan cruise and came home with awesome photos.
Back in September, James and I spent a weekend in Williamsburg and talked about a lot of things. One of which was about traveling more. I suggested a cruise and we decided to do it this June for our 35 year wedding anniversary. We never did anything special for our 25th year one so the time seemed right.
We used our timeshare points and were able to get the cruise for about half of what it normally costs. Then it was a matter of deciding which one to take. We decided we really wanted to see lots of glaciers, so we chose the one traveling to Glacier Bay. It is also visiting the Alaskan ports of Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Victoria, BC. It leaves and returns from Seattle, Washington.
Congratulations on your upcoming 35th anniversary. You are going to love our Alaska cruise. Great layout with you putting the cruise ship into the layout.
How exciting! Loved reading your journaling and congratulations on your 35th anniversary! Love the scene you created with the mountains, the ocean and the cruise ship. Thanks for playing along with my challenge!
oh how awesome.. Congratulations Bev and Happy Early 35th GBless!! I love your journaling and you will not be disappointed in the Alaskan Cruise. My Aunt & Uncle have gone once, my other Aunt has gone twice and another friend has gone twice. I am not a cruise person, but the only Cruise I will go on is an Alaskan one. Enjoy your countdown. It will be here before you know it. Love the way you scrapped this event. Bon Voyage!!
