One of the pages for the book I\'m making for Lauren as a wedding present- Used a template from the Get It Scrapped: Masterful Scrapbook Design: Ooomph & Polish, by Corrie Jones- I have to admit I still haven\'t read or watched the video class as my computer isn\'t behaving well, but is near in my list. I learn so much with the GIS classes, love the template- Story (as I couldn\'t used the text editor because it causes my program to crash and I have to restart the computer: When we came to live in this place, Sarita was 5 and our next door neighbour had 4 kids, Lauren being the youngest and only girl- She and Sarita started a friendship that developed into a sisterly love. Lauren is a year older, I was very good friends with her mum, Norah, who unfortunately passed away after she gave birth to her last (and 6th) child in 2007. Lauren moved away to outside London with her Dad, about an hour away from us, but never stopped coming over and spending time with us. She met an amazing guy a few years ago & they now have a baby boy who is 2 years old. They are getting married next week and Sarita is the Maid of Honour (reason why she turned down going to lead in Camp in Canada when they called her again!) Stuff I used: Kim Jensen: Stapled Sequins, Stapled Sequins 2- Stringbtas 10 Tiny Bits- Kaye Winiecki & Studio Basic: Sunkissed- Pink Reptile Designs: Chatter Box Elements- Pink Reptile Desigsn & T for Me: Eco Friendly- Little Butterfly Wings: Tropical Paradise Papers- Little Butterfly Wings & Studio Basic: I Kraft You Kraft- also here : ViVa Artistry: DIY Tags Elements & Ureshi- the numbers (15) are from a very old alpha from an old store collab- TFL!!!
Oh what a brilliant present! I'm sure she will treasure all the memories expertly saved and retold. I love all the layers here and the soft colors too! XOXO
