For WAS slow speed scrap hosted by Anne.
journaling: We celebrated Carissa and Elizabeth's 16th birthday a little early since we were squeezing it in before school moved into full gear. It was a pretty simple affair - games, food, a movie, and of course, cake. This year they wanted ice cream cakes from Baskin Robbins. Beth wanted the ice cream float cake and Carissa got a cake with mini ice cream cones on top.

what a fun page. a horizontal and vertical 4x6 is often hard to pull off. you nailed the design here, the broken block served you well. it gave you a place for your journaling and your title. love the design!

This is totally cute!  I love how you used the two word art elements to frame the photos!  I also like how you have the two photos overlapping one another -- it almost looks like one big photo!  Cool way to set the scene.
