I wouldn't go back to a desktop, I've been using a 17" laptop for years now. And I've never got to grips with the trackpad so good luck to you! I love the collage style of this page and the pops of teal against the more neutral browns and greens.
I see we're all wishing you well on the trackpad. I had it down pretty good at one time, but I had a different kind that had a little button you could use like a mouse to grab and drag things, click things, use the sliders, etc. I liked that better than the one I have. I use the mouse when I'm scrapping. I just keep it by my side (I'm usually sitting on my bed, so it's one giant mousepad...LOL). When I'm texting like in this box, if I need to move around, I'll the trackpad, though. Just depends on what I'm doing. Anyhooooo....love the chunky feel of your page, the large flowers, the large scrap of paper, the large journaling block. It's fun and eye-catching.
Beautiful page Ellen.. I gave up on the trackpad and bought a wireless mouse. I love my laptop with the big screen and I sit at my kitchen table overlooking the back yard with my TV going.. so I have my EHD plugged in and the wireless mouse and I am good to go. Enjoy your new laptop and getting used to having freedom to scrap where ever you wish!
Good luck with the touchpad. That is something I cannot due and my kids love letting me know how funny that is to them!! This is a gorgeous page Ellen - especially your colors and your clusters!
