the texture on that Oxidised Alpha is great and feels appropriate in terms of colouring for your subject matter too; (if i was a gambler, i might have put money on you picking C for Coffee (not c is for cookie like a certain blue monster might have scrapped about))
Using the same flowers both infront and behind the C gives this extra depth and continuity; great partial extraction too :agree
