My son went to a local community college for one year and then wanted to transfer to a larger (away from home) college for this year. We had a lot of hurdles and struggles and unknowns especially regarding where he was going to live. Thankfully he's there now and isn't homeless, so it all worked out in the end. Lol.
That sounds like my nightmare, but I'm so glad it worked out, that he's there and getting on with everything. Sounds like some more hurdles on the horizon to change programs, but I know it's doable. My daughter got into NYU's Tisch School of the Arts as a music theater major but after she got there, she decided she missed academia, so had to go through all the hoops to change programs for the next year. Love your angled journaling and the unique green tone. Fun that you included the screen shot of the transfer student info, too.
Great journaling & storytelling - what an ordeal! Glad he's settled now but sorry you had to deal with that. Waiting so long and not knowing is so stressful! I like the diagonal lean to the page with the big title and the screenshot.
Thanks! @scrapchyck@littlekiwi@Lynnette ! It was a little easier to do this page knowing that we are on the other side of most of the stress, but definitely felt good to get it all captured!
