SPIRIT BEARS

Description
Exploring Vancouver & Victoria I saw all of these cool fibreglass bears around so it became something I kept an eye out for and took photos of them whenever I found one. The first one I found on day one of my trip on the North Shore while out with Linda & Theresa. These two were probably my fave ones I found but there were also some cool fibreglass Orcas from a previous project still out and about. When I got home I investigated further & found that they were being auctioned off for charity and that the orcas were from a previous year. If nothing else seeing them brightened up my trip.

wonderful page, Jennifer.. we have something similar here.. mermaids :) Same thing re charities.. almost a game where people try to find all the mermaids in the area :) Love how you scrapped this and thank you for adding your journaling in the description :) Looks like this was a fun day on your trip!

We went to a town here in Sweden, that had dragons everywhere (cute dragons, not scary). I really should scrap those photos! Love how you matched the ragged edges with the colors in the bears.

Thanks @cfile, I actually saw these all throughout my three week trip in both Vancouver & Victoria.....it became something I'd keep an eye out for.

Thanks @tanteva, I just started playing with those edges & they worked well so I went with it. Definitely the key is use more rather than less to get an effect like this

Love all the colorful ragged edges matching the bears! Thanks for playing along with the January template challenge! :heartlub

The bears are so cool! Love the use of vibrant color softened by the vellum alpha! Beautifully done!
