Ouch is right! I've been lucky even with all of my surgeries over the years to never have broken a bone. In all seriousness, I love that big bold title.
@littlekiwi I have also been fortunate not to break a bone, but this poor toe has survived 2 traumatic injuries and I've lost that toenail twice (this was the second time lol) the nail did grow back though - whew! Thank you for the froggy fave! I stumbled on a video from @gonewiththewind yesterday about warping shadows and it was great timing when I chose this folded alpha that totally benefitted from a custom shadow!
Oh my goondess, bless your heart! I can only imagine how painfuul that was!! Such a great page for such a painful experience!! I love that big stitched title!
oh man - i kinda know what you felt (i shut my finger in a car door once (accidentally obviously) back in the day of video/DVD stores, we never went back to that particular video store again after i fainted in the new release section; and i ended up stabbing a needle through my own finger to release pain from blood pooling like you describe a few years back (b/c DH wouldn't do it for me even though i was begging), it makes such a huge difference to the pressure pain, and also i don't think we really value nails until they're injured or gone! anyhow, i'm sure this was a 'you win or you learn' learning moment and you won't be carrying such a stack like that again
Oh DANG! That sounds awful! I'm so glad your Mom was with you and advocated for you! Sounds incredibly traumatic! Love the storytelling on here though! Great page!
@bellbird Yes, you know exactly how it felt! I can't believe you stabbed the hole yourself! SO BRAVE, and honestly I'm even more impressed you did it yourself while in so much pain! Definitely a lesson learned for us both!
