Journaling - While Benjamin was off for Spring Break, we drove down to Monterey to spend the day. We had fun at the aquarium. Imagine our surprise when he actually got into the ocean and spent over an hour splashing. so cool. April 2023

I love how each section offers so much to look at. There are so many little bits and pieces that come together to make this an amazing page.

i feel like i say this on all your pages but this is very flippin cool - i love that rotated title with all the layers going on and how much depth your shadowing gives it and how there is so much to see on this page and all the details work (i;m guessing he's not usually a fan of splashing in at the beach too and so this is an awesome page for so many reasons - those unexpected moments are extra special)

@bellbird Benjamin has autism so he doesn't like different things and wet sand has been an issue in the past so we were really excited that he wanted to get his feet wet and he didn't meltdown when his pants got wet. He just went with it so it was an awesome moment.

I totally get the different texture issues (school uniform fabric as well as fluffy winter socks have been sources of a lot of drama with DD in the past & denim continues to be) so I have some small understanding of how big a moment this was for you & him
