That is what I am talking about Stefanie, and how wonderful re the 3 generations of rolling pins.. I am smiling as I too have Mom's and Grandma's but your story of baking with Granny Rose and the scratches being from her wedding ring, are priceless to me. The stories that no one would know by looking at the item is what makes me all excited. Your page is that wonderful representation! I love the sweet photos on the right edge of you, your Mom and Granny Rose, along with all the rolling pins in the drawer and on the counter. I also smile at the rolling pin your daughter chooses... the one from her Granny Wonderful page and story telling, Stefanie. Thank you for playing along with my challenge. Love it from the wonderful papers, the copper alpha for the title and the wonderful journaling!
oh... we are (as I keep discovering over the years) much Moree alike than what I thought when I first "met" you 10 years ago....and even more so when I met you guys here in London!!!! I am always trying to declutter, but there are certain things I don't seem to get rid of...I have so many important inherited objects and recipes, Sarita is wearing one of my grandma's rings and my mum's necklace, and my wedding ring was passed for 3 generations (including his mum) before I got it when we got married. so much to bring memories to our heart by just looking at them, right? LOVE that these ate something you chose to keep...needles to say, the page is A M A Z I N G !!!!!!!!!!!!
I really love your page Stephanie! I love the generational theme and the little memories that are precious to you about your Granny. The photos and elements you chose really speak to me and give me a peek into your relationship with your family. Beautiful page!
