This has been a real "journey". I started out by looking back at WHY we left The Sunshine State and migrated to Oklahoma. Then I found a video that was shot on the very day that some of the family saw the property that we now live on - for the first time. Be sure to look at the QR Code to see the video that was shot on that day - March, 2019. That began "the dream". My word count is 196 words. (The video, shot by my granddaughter, Ava, embodies the "why".) My 5 items are a compass, a world map, a plane, a location marker; a world brad, a camera and of course, a QR Code and a hand pointing toward it.

Journaling: Never in a million years did I think we’d all move to a 50 acre plot of land in the country. But we did! In March 2019, some of the family first saw the property we now live on. We came out here in July of 2019 and fell in love with the place. We live in the NE part of Oklahoma, in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, near a huge lake named Tenkiller. We can see the mountains from our front yard and have the most incredible view. There is a lot of tourism here and people enjoy rock climbing, boating, canoing, floating down the Illinois River, among other outdoor activities. Our winters are very mild, which is a good thing since we relocated from the Sunshine State. From the "raw", 50 acres, we now have 3 new homes and have made so many changes. I've included a QR Code to show you a movie of the first time some of the family flew out here to look at this property. My Granddaughter, Ava, created it and she created it to look like an old movie. It's wonderful - I hope you enjoy it!
Loved reading your journaling. So I am guessing that your daughter's home is complete? I will have to watch the video. Beautiful snapshots of your surroundings.
Hey Cheryl, just got to see the video. Loved the music, seeing Roger & his vision pointing to different things, Ava playing in the leaves. A perfect continuation of your layout.
@mcurtt Oh, I'm SO happy that you got to watch the video!! Isn't that crazy that so much has happened since March, 2019??? We've all been marveling at how much we've gotten done - it was amazing to look at that video. Yes, Adrienne and Roger got in their house in October and they're getting settled in. I love the shots of Roger pointing to where his vision was going to be. Thanks so much for letting me know!!
What a gorgeous place! What a big change and all the while Covid was part of it too! I love that your family is joining you. I'm going to try to watch the video later (I'm at work currently). Great mix of ellies and I love the doodle border too!
