seriously you've never seen snow in your part of NZ? it snows west of us (about 2 hrs south of Sydney) every once in a blue moon (i've never made a snowman out of anything but sand, and it's really not the same thing so you're one up on me) but i know people here that save money by going to NZ for the ski season because there's comparatively less snow and it's more $$$ here - i'm amazed the only snow you've experienced was literally half a world away!)

@bellbird that was my first experience of snow. The only other time I’ve seen snow from a distance was on a train trip that I took years ago down the North Island. I’m about 4 hours too far north so snow doesn’t get as far up as I am…..it’s more likely to be frosts and fog.
