so proud of you Lisa! you are awesome and thank you for all you do! this is beautifully told, love your self portrait and love the division down the page-almost makes it look like an open TN.
Lisa, I am so sorry you lost a loved one to Covid. You have created such a beautiful page documenting the last year. Love the self portrait and your poignant, reflective journaling. You are amazing!
You KNOW you are my hero, Lisa! I always say that if I had it to do over again, I would go into the military. I'm urging one of my granddaughers to do this! I asked her to follow you in IG - you're such a role model! BTW we just got our first vaccines about a week and a half ago. We were hoping to the get one-shot deal, but my dd (who's a nurse) told us to take the first available. We get our second injection in less than 3 weeks. Let's lick this!!!
What a stunning layout....and such valid journaling.
I was faced today with a question in a job application for a hospital job as a needs assessor and service coordinator for patients in hospital with disabilities about getting a COVID vaccination as part of being employed there if I was successful and until I saw the question it hadn’t even entered in my brain that it could be a requirement of employment there. Totally makes sense though and I was 100% going to do it anyway as I automatically fall into two high risk categories - I live in an area where there is a high chance of another community outbreak so the government is prioritising that area plus I fall into the category of having respiratory issues and identifying as disabled which is another area the government are prioritising. Not sure when it will happen as they are still doing border workers and healthcare workers at the moment.
