Hello Cake!!

Description
Cake is a big deal in our house. I used to bake once a month (because we are so greedy we will eat it all quickly). NOW with lockdown I am baking once every 8-9 days.
This week I was off and made Hubby's fave chocolate cake. That was Weds. It is Saturday we are down to the last slice. There are only 2 of us in the house. We love cake and we always say 'Hello Cake' when the first slice is cut.. Good job I workout right.

oh that looks fab! now i want cake too. we love cake too and it goes fast here as well! when i shop, the cake isle is definitely one that is bare, lol! lots of people baking during this crazy time. love how you did the Hello Cake title!

@jenn mccabe @Sokee @RJMJ - thanks for your lovely comments. I love that everyone feels the same about cake. RJMJ guess what.. there is no gluten and no dairy in my cake ;) I worked for Germans for a while as an au-pair and one of the children need gluten free & dairy free cake, so I learnt and it's still everyone's fave and they are always surprised that 'the chocolate pillow' is not actually that bad for them LOL!

Your cake looks yummy Claire and well done with the baking.. I always want to ice the cake too quickly - ha ha... @cfile Thanks for your comment, you made me LOL. I think you and Hubby might be related, I always let the cake cool for an hour at least and he's all 'why isn't it iced yet?' LOL.
