Real oatmeal is the best! I had a great aunt who always burned hers. I still like a little burnt flavor in my oatmeal. And my grandmother was Mama b. Love the clean look, journaling, and great pictures. Thanks for the inspiration!

Oatmeal is sooo good. I make steel cut in my InstantPot and I have breakfast for the week. (oatmeal, raisins, chopped almonds and a little bit of cinnamon in the cooking)

@cookingmylife Thank you Maureen We have steel cut too, that we use for our "Edingurgers".. we make lamb burgers with them.. I use the old fashioned to make regular oatmeal, but will definitely try it with the steel cut .. we don't have an instant pot so it would have to be cooking it on the stove.. one day soon... thank you for your sweet comments
