One of my earliest memories is spending time with my grandma. We have always had a very close knit relationship. I spent a lot of time at her place when I was young. Grandma and grandpa took care of me while my parents worked. One of my favorite memories was Halloween 1984, my parents had to work so my grandparents helped me get ready. My grandmother helped throw together a costome for me. I was a clown. I was quite nervous about having my face painted, so grandma knew just what to do. She painted her own
face to show me how fun it could be. That year we were both clowns! It was almost like we were twins!
And than we walked around her neighborhood to get candy! Everyone kept saying how adorable us clowns were. It was something I will cherish forever, spending that Halloween with my grandmother.

      Great childhood memory. It seems like you and your grandparents had a special bond. I love all the word bits you have used to help tell the story. I must confess that I’m one of those who don’t like clowns. You looked really scary and I would have run miles away if I had met you. Lol. Thank you for joining the challenge!
