M's is having a sale - 40% off everything that you buy online and pick up in store. So I added 2 Traveler Notebooks (TNs) to my cart: one coral and one light tan. And two refill inserts (one grid and one blank/sketch papers). The total without tax was $18.12. The papers are rather thin - but since I am printing my digital TN pages and pasting them in, they are sturdy. I think these are a great introduction to trying this format, and love how they feel in my hands! I'm going to keep going with these prompts over the next several weeks - until the insert is filled up with pretty pages!
Here are my Days 2/3 and Days 6/7 shown in my new TNs. Products used on these pages:
JENN! This is AMAZING!!!! I don't have a way to print out yet, but one day I hope to do something like this too! How cool! I bet it feels awesome to flip through and when you're done it's going to be just amazing!!!! I TOTALLY want to see the finished one too!!!
that is fabulous Jenn!! I love these! Your pages inside the Notebooks is fabulous! I love that the shadows really look great so it almost looks 3D on your printed pages. Perfect my dear!
@jenn mccabe these look great. Did you print on photo paper or just heavy grade regular? Makes me wish I had chosen 4 x 8 since I could have printed them myself but don't have the capability to print 12 inches. Maybe I'll consider doing another with the everyday prompts and using the smaller size. I was afraid of the smaller one as it seemed crowded -- you know by now that I am a woman of words -- got to have room to write!
@flowersgal I just printed on cardstock - cheap big box store mega pack 8.5 x 11 size. Nothing fancy. I didn't want to waste good paper. It came out fine. You could probably size those pages down to 4x8 easily for printing. (mine are actually 4.25 x 8.25 each and 2 pages fit nice and snug on std US letter size paper) Seriously these little TNs were $6.47 each and come with two different inserts already tucked inside. Can't beat that! And yes, I know by now you are a journaler. My printed journaling is very readable and you can see I have a bit on my pages too.
These are so great @jenn mccabe !! I picked up the same TN's at the beginning of the summer and have had fun doing digi/hybrid pages in them -can't beat that price!
