Cassette Culture

That black background with the blended paper is so very cool. I love your layers, your journaling, all of this is amazingly cool. Mixtapes, such a good memory. My daughter makes her husband a mixtape for every anniversary. Not like in my day, waiting for the radio to play the song and having your finger on the record button!

This makes me wonder where my mixtapes are! I know I saved at least one! It would be fun to find it so I could make a digital version of the playlist. Wonderful journaling and layering and contrast here. The sound wave and splatters are my favorite!

Oh, we remember the agony of trying to get the recording started and stopped at just the right moments, hoping to avoid DJ interference! Love your use of the stamped cassette images along with the realistic...we definitely know the topic and that's fabulous! Great placement of the journaling as well!

Love how everything just pops off of the dark background. It's not often I feel old but reading your journaling brings back all the memories of that sort of thing minus the records as I was growing up in the 90's

Oh how fun Suzanne.. you just gave me flashbacks to the early 1970's with the cassette tapes and recording the top 10 from the radio.. what I giggled about was "pushing the record button at just the right time".. LOL if you missed you would have to wait forever until they played it again... then using the cassette you made and blaring it in the car! Love this memory and I thank you for it!!! Love how you scrapped your photo-less page and your layered papers and cluster is amazing. TFS!
