Oh goodness Jenn... I can only imagine how badly you want these days to be over and to hear from your son! I'm saying prayers for strength and courage for him and for you! I can't wait to hear how if does!
Thank you @Karen ! He's in the Crucible now! Final 54 hour challenge before becoming a Marine. This time tomorrow he will be at his EGA (eagle globe anchor ceremony!). I've gotten 24 letters from him, in 3 months. He loves it. It's where he's meant to be.
@jenn mccabe I love that he loves it and that he knew where he was meant to be. That is so rare these days and especially at his age. I know that I didn't know what the heck I was supposed to be doing at that age!
TY @BevG I am so excited for him. The EGA ceremony is sacred/private for Marines only -it's the official moment they become Marines -then they have two weeks left of Marine Training on the island before moving onto other training/schools. His graduation will be Nov 9th and YES! We will be there for 3 days to celebrate! I cannot wait to see him in uniform!
