      @KittyY I do things weird an unconventional a lot of the times! :) I have an action for the wave that was gotten from this tutorial by Amanda R: https://the-lilypad.com/shadowing-tutorial/

      also here is a whole thread on shadowing here in the learning forum. I usually split my shadow on create a new layer.. I also a lot of the times will do the wave action on it, and then will warp it. there are a lot of shadow styles for sale in the store... Fiddle Dee Dee has some as well as Mommyish. I mix and match a lot of things depending on what I am doing..

      The tape I am using I made in conjunction with Kate Hadfield. It comes in 2 formats.. regular and a vellum format. This tape I used is already done in vellum and then I just applied the burn tool over the line where it overlaps on the stitching and then the dodge tool on each side of the burn line to create depth.
