Aug23_Memory Pockets Monthly-Groovy_Hybrid Cards - Set 2

I am loving this MPM kit, it is amazing. The colours are great and I am in love with all the fun elements.

There was so much that I wanted to play with that I decided to not have a theme this month. But this time I did the same thing as the roller skate cards and used the same element on each card.

Card 1 - I love bird stamps and whenever there is a bird element in a kit, I try and use it. For this card I went with traditional cardmaking and I used one of the many gelli plate backgrounds I have hanging around and die-cut using a circle die. Then I heat-embossed the sentiment.

Card 2 - This card uses papers from the kit and the sentiment banner is also from the kit. I like to use shapes to layer and stack papers, it means that you can use even the busiest papers together if you use some foam tape for dimension.

Hybrid is so much fun to do and super easy too. You can easily fussy cut the supplied printable sheets if you don't have a digital die-cutting machine.
Or you can use my method - I lay the elements out in photoshop, print them and die-cut using Big Sexy (aka my Brother scan n cut).
