Well, this page turned out completely different from what I had planned. I was looking for a certain picture from my "Quilt" and found this picture. Some of you might remember my page about meeting my husband of 40 years at his brother's wedding. I was the flower girl and he was the best man. This is a picture of me before the wedding in my grandma's front yard. I felt like a princess that day. Ordinarily, I was a total tomboy, but that day, I was a princess. Here's that layout I'm referring to: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/february-journaling-challenge.424385/
@mcurtt I think that was one of the few times I didn't want to be wearing jeans, a flannel shirt and cowboy boots. Haha I wish I had more pictures from the wedding, but that is the only one I ever remember seeing.
@flowersgal Thanks, Patsy! I started to crop the picture and I just couldn't. I remember, so vividly, Grandma's yard and there was a dry cleaners on the corner that we could see from her yard. Next to the dry cleaners was a neighborhood grocery story. I wanted to leave the cleaner's building in the picture.
@Electra I'm super lucky to have that photo! After I found this picture, I asked my husband's niece if she happened to have any more pictures from her mom and dad's wedding. She didn't, but said she'd ask her sister if she had any, so I hope to get a few more.
Cheryl, I was waiting for boots and cowgirl's hat! but this is so adorable! What a gorgeous dress and you know every cowgirl has a little princess buried under the mud. LOL!!!
@Dalis Surprised ya, didn't I??? I was totally looking for one of my cowboy pictures when I found this one. I did a total U turn! I was a princess for at least one day.
