i love how you made this page a painting in itself! the way you used the woodgrain reminds me of VanGogh's Bedroom at Arles painting (but i actually like your more ) - the use of the white brush stroke and the touch of purple is very cool and you have made every element on here serve a purpose and it all enhances that photo of your mother! glad you could attend and play along!
She was a very sophisticated woman, wow! I love how she is dressed all the way, with hat and pearls! I agree I love how you made the table, it 100% reads as a table instead of a wood paper.
