All I want for Christmas 1979

I was about 4 years old, & I really wanted a sister or even a brother if all the sisters were already spoken for. I had a snowflake costume on and learnt a poem to impress Ded Moroz, or Daddy Frost and his granddaughter Snow Maiden, or as we call her in Russia Snegurochka. The present I have got was a proper doll pram, just perfect for a sibling, but no sibling in sight to my regret. I tried to talk Ded Moroz into changing his mind & granting my wish, but he said I had to talk to Mum & Dad about that & meanwhile I could be practicing with my dolls at how I\'d look after my sibling one day if I get one.
