Great page! The poster reminds me of Anne of Green Gables book 7(?) when they tear out their beautiful front garden and plant potatoes to do their part.

Brilliant page remembering then and things we can learn from the past. I'm often reminded about the things the people in the UK did during WWII at the moment.

Love it all and the nostalgic elements that are so true today. I've never seen that poster but yes, don't hoard. I'm a red lover myself!

Angela Toucan, what people in the UK did during WWII is impressive and inspirational. "Keep calm and carry on" has become somewhat of an overworked meme; but people actually did have to do that, while living in air raid shelters!...
