I still am struggling with the concept that I have lost a significant amount of weight over the past year. It’s like I know I’ve lost the weight but I can’t fathom that I have actually lost that much weight in 18 months. It’s been nearly twenty years since I had weight loss surgery and this is the first time since the inital weight loss that I have lost a large amount of weight in a consistant manner. I guess now that my body is being good to me, I need to love it too in its current form. I think it is going to take a bit more work in terms of how I feel looking at the “current” me. Getting new clothes and shoes that actually fit and aren’t 5 to 6 sizes too big for clothes and 3 sizes too big for shoes will be a start to be able to physically see the changes as well pushing myself physically to see how much better my physical fitness is. If nothing else, I now feel a lot more like a 34 year old and not an 84 year old with all the aches and pains from excess weight.
Good for you with your weight loss!!! And good for you for resolving to love your body the way it is!! Love the positive message here, love the imagery, and love that title. Great page!
