I was present at my nephew's birth. And my older daughter cut her brother's umbilical cord. (She was 5 and he was born at home.) It's a wonderful experience being at a birth!
Oh my goodness, Anne! Even though this makes me a little squeamish (I could never be anything in the medical field! LOL) I just love the way you scrapped it, and I am so happy for you that you got to take part is this amazing experience.
Grandma cuts the cord... haha... love it! What an awesome memory to have with your grandbaby! I got to see one of my nephews born when I was 18 years old and working for the doctor who delivered him. I hope I can see all of my grandbabies born too. Thanks for playing along with the challenge.
