Boy this sure makes me feel better!!! I have been on low carb, intermittent fast diet since last July (have lost 51 pounds) and there were times I would doubt the healthfulness of it. LOVE how you put your layout in book form. Fabulous job with this challenge!
I so agree. I've been grain free since the early part of 2013, have been high-fat, low carb and I'm a lot healthier than people who consume those "healthy whole grains". I love the oxymoron.
Nancy and Mcurtt! WTG! I don’t use a scale, but know I’ve lost at least 40 pounds because people are noticing. But the non-scale victories are priceless: no more joint pain...way more energy...huge increase in flexibility...acid reflux GONE...floaters in my eyes GONE, skin tags are disappearing...and the list goes on. I feel better than I have since I was in my THIRTIES! ...and that was over 40 years ago! This is the fountain of youth! And this probably isn’t the forum in which to have this discussion, but I had to respond to sisters in this wonderful WOL.
@SharLamb And don't forget the hair. I no longer get split ends. People comment on how pretty my hair is & it always used to look dry & brittle. Skin is another plus, fewer wrinkles, a healthy glow.
Love the bold statement you made with your subway art! Really grabs your attention. The notebook look of it all is fabulous! Your journaling is great as well. It is so interesting to see the evolution of what is considered "healthy" and (not to go all conspiracy theory here) how it is influenced by different corporations and interest groups. Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge!
