Teana is my next door neighbor, and my friend... She was already there when we moved in in 1994... She has always been there for me and my kitty cats... At the moment there is just Kashmir... But she was also a surrogate Mom to Kismet, before he died... She watches Kashmir, and my house and my plants (in the summer) when I have to be gone... She informed me a year ago I had 40 Outside plants in pots that needed tending!!!! Yikes!!!!

A long time ago we started getting together at Christmas for an evening of gift exchanging and conversation... We both look forward to it, but I had thought perhaps it was a burden on her, since she rarely goes out and does not really like shopping, while I on the other hand LOVE shopping, So I asked her this year if she wanted to continue...? she seemed surprised and said, yes of course, didn't’ I want to? This year for the first time ever, we had a deep personal conversation about her life, and I learned that there is no one who gives her gifts, so it is something she really looks forward to....made me happy!
