it can be.... is a fun quote, but I always say, to me, Art journal is whatever you want it to be.... for some people art is painting circles of the same colour in a canvas, others love a more reality approach, some people love splashes of paint on a canvas (a Jackson Pollock painting sells for half a million dollars or more....) so whatever we like doing... I think we are, in a way, already making art with our memory keeping pages.... the fight of putting things on a page and making them look nice...or making them make sense to us.... to me, that is most definitely art and if we do it often enough and keep it, is a journal... right? you did super well here!!!! love your shadows in that quote and love the lady element!!!!!
