Oh I love this! I had so much fun with the challenge. And I love how your layout turned out. I love that you included the maps of Indiana and Nevada and I love all your elements and details. Such a pretty layout! Thank you for hosting!
I'm glad you were able to make the move. Las Vegas is NOT my favorite place to live, but it is home now since my four children were born and raised here and are now having families of their own. I do dream for a town with seasons though and I'm glad you got it!!
I love your split page design with the paint at the corners of the journaling. I was wondering about your move so I enjoyed reading your story. I love how you used the shapes of the states with the words inside them. Thanks for the challenge and inspiration!
Great journaling! Makes sense. Good luck in your new place! We also moved from big, dry city (L.A.) to a place with seasons and much cheaper housing (VA) in 2000. I like how you added words to the map pieces.
Love the title and the split design. And my grandmother used to shop in Evansville as it was the closest "big" shopping opportunity for her in her small town across the Illinois border. So fun to read a story about a dream making it's way to reality.
@garrynkim Seasons is such a weird thing to miss isn't it? I feel for you! i enjoyed our time there, but yes, I'm so glad to have seasons again that aren't just A Little Too Warm, Super Hot, Unbearably Hot, and Perfect.
@elseepe We stayed in Evansville when we did our big trip in September 2019. It's fun to see what people consider the "big" shopping out here. We are actually one of those "big city" towns for the rural ones here.
