Sarita (DD) just came back last week from an internship in Sevilla, Spain. I cannot even start to imagine how my poor mother got through my years of traveling (a lot way far away distances!) without the technology we have now. We spoke a few times a week on FaceTime, and every day messages on iMessage, I think I got more photos sent to me in these past three months than in the past 6 years with her in the room next door LOL TFL!!!
I love the way you tucked that beautiful big photo behind that delicious cluster! I can totally relate to your dependency on Facetime-- I'm the same with my dad. You're so amazing at placement and size when you create clusters. I have HUGE cluster envy!!xoxo
back with a bang! pure awesomeness - hope you are surviving ok without her, that she's making memories, & yes, i agree with the cluster envy comment LOL
@yellowpeep and I have HUGE elegance envy with your pages!!!! thank you so so much!!!!!!!means the world to me!!!! missed you guys!!!!
@bellbird @Justine, she is back!!! came back last week, that's why I only came back here yesterday, we spent the whole weekend watching Netflix & Amazon and Sky TV series I had recorded for us to watch together, and eating like cows all the things we are NOT supposed to be eating LOL Thanks so so much, like I said to Liana, I have huge crushes with everything you guys do..... my best pocket Disney pages are inspired by yours (I do try not to lift them piece by piece but the temptation is HUGE!!!!) Thanks so so much, we ll catch up soon, Love you both!!!!!!
I'm so happy to hear you and Sarita are reunited! Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend together love seeing your pages back in the gallery, too. Your clusters are my favorite! I love the big photo behind and the arrows pointing to your journaling.
@umyesh thank you so much!!!! I love how you have inspired me for having a bit more of elegance with your own pages... you know how much I love you and your pages have always been inspiring to me!!!!!!!!
Oh, hello...who is this gorgeous face? With those eyes. ***sigh*** but yes. Thank goodness for technology. Nothing like a familiar face. A loved face. To help us get through those moments. Miles disappear. Connections. Digital, pale in comparison to the real thing...but then you hear the familiar voice.
I just adore the big blended photo in the background and of course, she's just beautiful! It sounds like you have a wonderful relationship Such a wonderful way to showcase her, I love every detail!
@ArmyGrl Lisa, yes, mos definitely..... that is Sarita my daughter, she was on an internship in Sevilla in Spain, for 3 months..... my carer was here but I don't get many hours and I am not in very good shape, plus the agoraphobia attacked me badly, ended up not traveling to see her like we had planned...my poor mother, I can only imagine her pain, because I started traveling very very young, far away...and in my times we had nothing like computers or cell phones!!!
@CharlotteM Thanks so so much!!!!!!! I need to catch up with your gallery!!! will do soon!!!
@SeattleSheri I will keep saying this, you ll get bored of me, but so so very happy that you are here !!!! Thanks so much...and yes, we have a great relationship...we had our dramas, she is 23 so she has gotten on my nerves badly before LOL but I think she has done a lot of growing up in the past couple of years, and the internship in Spain gave the experience on living with room mates, having to budget , so she came back even more organized....
