Journaling reads: Friday, March 23, 2007 Shopping in Puerto Vallarta... We bought a bathroom sink in greens and blues, so very pretty. They wrap the sink in cardboard, then in a foam fabric, tape it up and put a handle on it so that it can be carried on the plane as luggage. All for 450 pesos. We brought our purchase home, and there it sat untouched. Neither one of us had enough ambition to get the sink installed. At one point we unwrapped our treasure, thinking that would give us the impetus to do something with it. Nope, it sat around longer, getting dusty. Finally in 2015, 8 years later, out of embarrassment more than anything, we decide go for it. While we’ve spent an arm and a leg to get this little beauty functional, we love it, it makes us smile, every single day.
