Even though I had only been out of the hospital for four days, I made it to my best friend’s son’s wedding. I wouldn’t have missed it for anything. Lori and I have been best friends for 36 years and I wanted to be there for her like she’s always been there for me. We are opposites yet we compliment each other so well. We may not have the same mother, but we are truly sisters.
