God is Brazilian....this is a saying we have, the whole of Brazil has so much beauty, we were blessed by having lived in the very place where the Portuguese discovered Brazil in 1500... they arrived in the coast of Bahia, in the north east, the city is called Porto Seguro, we lived in one of the villages, Trancoso, +or - an hour drive from Porto Seguro, you can save time by crossing the river with the barge instead of going on the road all the way (the road was only built in 2000, for the celebrations of the 500 years of Brazil. The airport was build in 1990 if I am not mistaken, I remember traveling by bus before I took Andy there before we got married. The villages were modernized a few years ago, but still remain visually a paradise, with all the colonial areas well preserved. The photo is from Sarita's God Parents place, is a Pousada (mini hotel) on the beach, the most amazing place on earth.
