Made this for the March Random Challenge hosted by awesome Polly Ahsleyweb, whom I admire with all my heart, so I wanted to make something that meant something to me, not just a page for making a page for a challenge....
When I saw Mirjam's collection for today, which is one of my most favorite products of hers (even though I never dislike any, all of hers are favorite of mine LOL) I knew exactly what to do. I used

About this page and the challenge :
Top big photo is of the entrance to the city of Porto Seguro, Bahia in north eat Brazil, the beach is one of Trancoso, a small village you have to drive for an hour from the airport (which was only built in 1990) and the city pf London in this global pandemic.
Not sure if you can read the journaling. I had titled it first as "Yeah, I don't Know Either" which meant to have a journaling about why or how come we ended up in this side of the world (England, UK) when we used to live in many pieces of paradise like Rio and Bahia (some of the most beautiful places in Brazil) but, even though I would have been able to use ALL the alphas (only used 2 of them) it wouldn't fit so I gave it the title that, as Sarita reminded me, suits it best, as this month we complete exactly 20 years since we had to come back to London and were made to stay by the circumstances. The comparing the complete opposite places, a beach small fisherman village on top of a hill, turned a high tourism, very expensive place for holidays for both upper class Brazilians and rest of the world, incredibly beautiful and without nothing of the progress, and a city as full on a London, busy and with a weather neither of us quiet get used to, even though Sarita was born here in a snowy winter day...but then turned into something else, I think, the appreciation of the bigger plan and how even when at the time of events that may not be our plan and hurt or we think wrong, looking back we can see it was the right thing to do, the bigger plan always makes things fit
why ending up here, in London? yeah, I don't know either …but I know now, even in the most upsetting of events, when you look back after some time, you know the bigger plan was right, and this was pretty much the case in our move back to London. Not that we intended to stay for life, but Marcinha & Francois plan was what we thought suited, they were there until Sara was 11, then took her to Switzerland to do secondary school. Our life was cut abruptly, but, again, every time I look back I see why we had to be here,
There is mot certainly no doubt, if given a choice between
near paradise, summer all year long (or at least it was until the climate thing started to affect the area badly) green everywhere, a house that was ours, eating from the garden or from the sea after the fishermen would come to our door with product they have just gotten…. life in paradise was great but when you put all events together you see…when holding on to faith and working towards
sanity …. more than right on time….
TFL!!!
