Ah 1954, ...a picnic organized at Fletcher’s Field, the large park across the street from our apartment complex. I don’t know who took the picture as my parents were both at work but it was my Kodak Brownie camera. We never cared about sitting on tree roots or rocks, or the bugs. Almost 10 yrs old then with my bff Mary Ellen and a soft drink was such a big treat for us! No milk that day.
I love looking at the housewives of the day in their summer dresses. Their lives were so very different then...
