since my operations failed in 2003, I have been using crutches but used a wheelchair for places that required long walks or standing up. Because of my heart condition I cannot use a self-propelled one, so as the transit ones are relatively accessible price wise, we bought one. We could have gotten a free one from Camden Services but they are quiet heavy and difficult to take apart (we had one, the one we went to Disney with in 2006, but also this time would have taken at least 2 months for me to get it) We bought this one the day before my hospital day, it was £70 all together and arrived in less than 24 hours. We had a laugh with Sarita wheeling me, and less stress as we didn't need to wait hours to park at the hospital grounds! TFL!!!
