Love your layout. We lived in D.C. and I worked on New York Ave. just a few blocks from the White House when we first married. More than 50 years later we went back and the street was almost unrecognizable. Thank goodness for the historic church which helped me to place the location.
Your page is terrific!! What a great way to remember BOTH photos! Love the light background you've used and the touches of paint just bring everything together!
here in London the time passing is so extreme that some of the photos we have of Camden Town or Sommerstown (where we lived when Sarita was born) in the early 90s and if you take a photo now is almost un recognizable!!! I love what you did here!!! as usual with you, gorgeous elegant lines, beautiful blank space, your layering is great and the effect of the layered yellow paint with the detail of the yellow stitches marks excellence!!!!! gorgeous page all over!!!!! Thank you so much for playing with us!!!!
@MrsPeel Cynthia, if only I had photos of our many London visits in the late 60s and early 70s. Ah ...if only. We didn't even take family photos of the 3 of us - me, hubs and toddler son) I suspect because color film cost money as did printing but darn...we could have afforded it!
