I started my erasers collection again (I had over 200 when I was in my early 20s!)
Journaling reads + or - like this: (I may have change or added to make it fit ) If you know me, you know I have been for a very long time finding the cloud's silver lining…with this virus, though it gets difficult to even think positive at times, I have already found some. One general is the fact that we, as a civilization, have technology and that us, as a family, have access to it.
Within that the fact that Amazon Prime makes shopping to treat ourselves here and there a possibility… I bought these erasers, so very cute!!! One pack is a coke take away cup, with burger and hot dog & even fries, other two had biscuits (cookies) another was the baby bottle full of little ones! I started collecting erasers in my early teens, and when I was living in Rio in my early 20s I had more than 200 of them!!! I lost them, on one of those things that takes more than one page to tell the story, but when I saw the first pack on
offer on Prime I show it to Sarita and she encouraged me to buy (even offered to pay!) love having little treats to make life, which I believe it is hard for so many of us at the moment, a happier one, even if little silly things like this
How cute your page is Cynthia.. Love all the cute erasers.. I would have a hard time looking at those though, as they are so real looking I would start craving them!!! I loe your journaling and love your page.. so cute!
I love your page and collection!!! What a great, fun item that doesn’t take up too much room! My husband said “I feel a spree coming on... shopping or killing, you choose”, (just joking of course)! I love a little retail therapy these days. Great page and photo to document your re-start!
@cfile LOL definitely!!!! I stuck them all in a huge antique glass jar in the liv8ng room, because they do look so very real!!!! <3 thanks so much, my Friend, you know how much it means to me you making time for me!!!!! <3
@michele hillam LOL You got me into a deep, marvelous laugh here.... your husband could get together with Sarita ....she has that kind of comedy look into my moods LOL and yes, yes YES the retail therapy has done me a LOT of good.... when we can get something that makes us smile and a bit happier, is great,. especially when you get good deals..... the erasers were so cheap, that I wasn't expecting this level of quality... the first pack was £3.69, then the bottle with the little fruits was under £1 and the 3rd pack was 68 pence!!!! WE did spend a little ( ok, a lot LOL) more money in stuff for our kitchen, we love cooking and buying stuff for the kitchen gets us more excited than buying clothes or shoes, and also bought a pedestal fan, remote control, AWESOME.... it was so terribly suffocating here, I had had no need for fans in 30 years, but the past 3 weeks, I am so so glad we spent the money!!!! it was £50.... will catch up with you in aminute..... thanks so so much for your time stopping in my pages, you know you are in my fav people list!!!!!
@CharlotteM thanks SO much!!!!!!! most definitely need to catch up with your gallery too!!!!!! means a lot that you guys make time to stop in my pages, I always talk with my daughter about scrappers and stuff that goes on, was telling her earlier how much support and human worth, (apart from talent!) we have in this industry, especially in The Pad's community..... you know you are an inspiration to me, so it means a lot that you have words for me
