As an Aussie myself, it is heartwarming to read your memories & fondness for our country. As a fellow global citizen, I agree with you on so many levels & as someone who 'sponsored ' a koala due to the devastation as well , I thank you for your kindness from the bottom of my heart. It's truly a terrible situation, both locally & on a global scale, but I am very impressed with your tree &those fallen triangle leaves say so much, as does the vast negative/ white space in your design - the loss, in the blue mountains area alone, is also vast and just devastating.
