Journaling - We are slowly counting down the last few weeks of school. The last day of Kindergarten is June 2nd. You’re excited to call yourself a “First Grader” but I don’t think you completely understand that next year will be a new teacher, new classroom, some new friends, and a slightly longer school day. You’ve grown so much this year. It’s been hard though. We’re still trying to figure out how to help you process the world. You finally made some good friends and are interested in playing regularly with the other kids during recess. More to come and see in do next year... Summer first! We’re ready. I think... I hope. What a sweet page. Great colors and I love the white background. First grade is the best. When the kids go into first grade and when they leave, it's a big year for development. My 3 kids all had the same teacher. Sigh. Enjoy the summer.
Love the shape of the photo, the journaling and then the piece of paper beside - looks amazing. And what wonderful journaling. It is a big transition from K to Grade 1. I love how you chose the colour scheme to go so well with your photo. Great page!
