I hated printing photos
it began as a way to keep photos of my son. He came with no photos of the first four years of his life. I felt like I needed to document everything to make up for that loss.
I used power point at first and I was so impressed with myself.
I remember figuring out shadows. OH wow what a day!
We got a digital camera
and the photos were already
on the computer.
I was downloading freebies all the time, and finally figured out there were forums and galleries of other people doing digital scrapbook pages. I thought I was alone.
I did one hybrid scrapbook and it cost me almost $100 in supplies I could only use once.
there was a contest of new designers at a forum (since closed) and you could get their designs for free.
Make a page with them and help the designer be chosen to sell at the store
Charlie from Australia-I was amazed someone across the world was scrapping and she liked my pages and asked me to be on her team!
FREE STUFF
Four kids now, husband pastoring a church, moved to California and homeschooling. Scrapping was an easy thing to do while homeschooling. No clean up, and now I was on a few dozen teams. So, no overhead.
I now make gifts with my skills, from books, to bags. I have taught so many people how to use photoshop.
At my church, I make flyers, calendars, sign up sheets and many Sunday School crafts with the photoshop scrapbook skills
Accidentlyl,fell into Tangie's Art Journal Caravan and was hooked to Art Journaling. I could pour my emotions onto a page. I struggle with art on paper, but digitally, I could create the things in my head.
