Welcome to my little store! I’m Maaike, the designer behind Pixel Giraffe Design. Fueled by chocolate and tea living in the Netherlands with my husband, kids, and animals, surrounded by ‘things I might use one day’. While I’m not busy working (I do have a daytime job in healthcare) or with my family, you might find me surrounded by friends, traveling, or by myself sketching or reading.
You will find 2 lines in my store: An art journal/mixed media style one, usually inspired by life challenges and a more subtle artsy one, usually nature inspired -but may contain urban and homey elements. Both lines usually contain a big splash of watercolor and a whole lot of emotion – also lots of love, sweat and chaos, but that doesn’t always show.
