The Heart of Scripture series was created as part of a Bible study workshop with Grace in Colour and is now being offered seperately from the workshop. It includes 3 parts that are available individually or bundled for extra savings. Also included in this bundle are the core solids pack and the core alpha that were made to coordinate with the three parts. I love slipping a Bible verse into my scrap pages, because I draw my stength from them and they contribute to the devotional aspect of my scrap pages. As I scrap I ponder on the depth of the message.

Welcome to the Heart of Scripture Workshop! In this 4 week journey of Faith and Creativity, you will study the themes of Kingship and Wisdom in the Psalms. You will focus on one chapter a week, discovering how these songs written so long ago apply to your life today.
This is the 3rd Workshop in the Heart of Scripture Workshop series but the 1st two are not required to enjoy this one (you can find them below if you want to check them out). Each of the 3 classes focuses on different themes in the Book of Psalms and this one is so encouraging. The Word of God is inspired and educational for you today and I can’t wait to explore a chapter a week on Wisdom and God’s Kingship.Â
Each week, you will also have creative prompts to help you represent what you are learning visually. Bible Journaling can mean many different things and in this workshop you will see examples of digital, traditional and hybrid styles of Bible Journaling. If you have been comfortable with Bible Journaling for a long time, or are brand new to the idea, you will be encouraged and inspired.

I am so excited to announce the first Bible Journaling & Bible Study Workshop at The Lilypad! And what better place to begin this adventure together than in the Psalms.
The Heart of Scripture Workshop is a 4-week study on Praise and Petition, two common themes found in the Psalms. Let’s encourage and refresh one another by digging into the Word of God together in a non-overwhelming way. We will study one chapter each week and you will learn to hear what God says to you through these instructive Psalms. You will also be exposed to fun ideas and techniques you can use to express your own creativity as you study.

LOVE YOURSELF Challenge #3: Fill a page with journaling that pours out your feelings towards yourself or someone else (good or bad) and then scrap over the journaling with paints, embellishments, photos or anything else until you can barely see the journaling and it is replaced with something of beauty.
To bestow grace on someone is to offer them unmerited love and forgiveness. Some of us find it easy to show grace to others, but not to ourselves. As the soul becomes inflamed with toxic guilt and condemnation, it may become more critical, complaining, or contentious. Are there any areas of you life that you need to cover with grace? Do you need to let go of some stuff? Do you need to forgive yourself or someone else for past hurts or disappointments? The challenge outlined above may be a good outlet to release some of your emotions and begin the healing process.
