My winter collection was inspired by the Scandinavian concepts of “hyggelig” and “koselig” – there’s no simple translation but I think of it as the art of enjoying the simple and comforting pleasures of home in order to get through winter. That led me to the Bergen kit, with its vintage patterns and little wooden houses and trees.

I practically tore the old tape measure out of my mother in law's hands when I saw her about to toss it out. "It's all worn and ripped," she said. "Perfect!" I replied. It had belonged to HER mother so that makes it genuinely vintage! Here it is straight, curled and tied into bows and in a variety of colors to live a whole new life on your pages. A northern hemisphere winter is a novelty for my daughter and this wintery paper collection was inspired by favorite photos of her running through the snow in a Californian campground at the crack of dawn.
