Challenge Highlights
It’s almost the end of the month and all month long TLP has been running a challenge everyday for the chance to win a coveted Polly spot. I am just beyond words at the amazing, gorgeous pages that are in the challenge gallery and the overall TLP gallery!! I have seen some new to me scrappers and some scrappers I know already. The level of talent and awesomeness in the gallery is just inspiring to me. There were so so many scrappers that I just fell in love with and caught my eye right away but I had to narrow down to just a few. Trust me when I say that each and EVERY scrapper that is participating is just amazing. Seriously! Incase you haven’t looked yet at the gallery you can see the bursting gallery here.
My first pick is this amazing page done by Tea With Lemon. What drew me into this page was the color. I LOVE a page with bright awesome color. Plus I am also a huge fan of anything freestyle. Tea With Lemon is a pretty new scrapper to me and I am just in awe of her amazing gallery
My next pick is by Star74. I have been a huge huge fan of hers for a long time now and every page she does, makes me want to be a much better scrapper! I love the fact that she can take a photoless layout and make it look so easy and trust me it’s not easy to do. I love the pops of pink and the marker alpha she added to her page. Plus her shadows are out of this world!!!
Mummyd is my next pick of pages that caught my eye right away! She is pretty new to TLP and jumped right in with awesome pages and shadows you can seriously touch. What I love about her page is her blending. I have never been able to get the perfect blend on anything and hers is just perfection. I love the neutral tones and how everything still makes you focus on the photo blend.
Next up is MrsFinn. Charlie is such an amazing scrapper who does not scrap enough. So when I saw she was doing the challenges I was beyond thrilled and I actually bookmarked this page right away to use for my blog post a few weeks ago. She really rocks the freestyle and her use of color and elements just WOW me.
Last BUT not least is AnneofAlamo. Anne took a long break from scrapping so to say I was running around doing backflips when I saw she was scrapping again and at TLP is an understatement. I was THRILLED. Anne has always been a source of inspiration for me with my scrapping. She can take any style and OWN it. I just an a tad jealous of that LOL! Not only has she rocked every single page she has done for the monthly challenge, she has done them ALL. What really grabbed me about this page was how REAL it looks. How she made it actually look like paper I wanted to reach out and touch. It was just amazing to see this delight in the gallery!
There are so many more ladies I want to highlight but I had to limit to 5 LOL! Each and every scrapper who has participated has made me smile with their pages. I enjoy seeing them all. I can’t wait to see who joins us as a new Polly!
