April Challenges
Happy Spring! (at least to most of us in the US) It’s Polly Karen here bringing your a look at all the new monthly challenges posted to the forum yesterday. Based on our percentage system, you can earn three levels of coupons for the store just by participating in our challenges. In addition to the coupon, if you complete all 7 challenges within the month of April, you will be entered in a drawing to win a one month guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! This month we are once again offering TWO guest spots. The discounts available are as follows: 2 challenges = 10% off, 4 challenges = 20% off and 6 challenges = 30% off. Now let’s take a look at the new challenges:
1. Random Challenge – Dana is hosting the Random Challenge for April and has picked a super fun blog post to inspire you. She wants you to look at this post about 50 Questions to Get to Know Someone and pick at least one question from that post and use it to create a page. Here is a sample layout created by Dana:
2. Journaling Challenge – Heather (HeatherB) is challenging you to create a layout and really tell a story (current or past) using journaling. Here is a fabulous page created by Heather to get your started:
3. Product Challenge – The April Product Challenge is hosted by Julie (mrs2a50). She has selected fasteners as the product to play with on your layouts this month. Here is a layout created by Julie:
4. Template Challenge – Amanda (MandyKay) is hosting the template challenge this month and Amy Martin has once again supplied a gorgeous (and free) template for you to use for this challenge. Click on the image below to download the template and then below that is a sample created by Amanda:
5. One Word Challenge – The One Word Challenge for April is hosted by Amanda (gracielou). Amanda has selected “ABOUT” as the word to inspire your layout. Here is a gorgeous sample page created by Amanda for this challenge:
6. Scraplift Challenge – This month’s scraplift challenge is hosted by Heather (talktoheather). Heather has selected the talented Anne of Alamo as the the scrapper to lift for April. Simple go to Anne’s gallery and select a layout that inspires you and then create a scraplifted version of your own. Here is the layout Heather scraplifted, followed by her own scraplifted version:
7. BYOC Challenge – Last, but certainly not least, is the BYOC Challenge. This challenge will be hosted by Renee (renee82) and will be posted on Friday, April 4th when the April BYOC collection is released to the store. This challenge is to use 90% of the products on your page from the current BYOC collection and from at least 3 designers.
